GOATbusters made that promise timely for baseball season. With MLB returning and Ghostbusters newly available at home, we turned two cultural moments into one campaign.

We cast MLB legends as paranormal heroes in a Ghostbusters-style baseball showdown.
Ghost mascots, ballpark chaos, and larger-than-life players gave the campaign a world fans could understand instantly. It made DIRECTV STREAM’s promise simple: live sports and on-demand entertainment, crossing streams in one place.

Turning MLB stadiums into haunted ballparks.
We created a geolocated Snapchat experience built specifically for MLB stadiums.
The lens used custom field-recognition technology to read the ballpark from a fan’s seat and anchor the AR experience to their exact perspective. It turned the larger-than-life ghost mascots from the films into something fans could see inside the stadium, making the mashup feel real, interactive, and tied to game day.


Catching fans between innings and feeds.
We extended GOATbusters across targeted social, web, and performance placements designed to reach fans while they were scrolling, browsing, and following the season.
Short, social-first films expanded the campaign beyond the hero spot and kept the mashup moving across platforms.
